SENIOR GYMNASTICS COACH VACANCY
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Level 3 or 4 Coach to work in our successful club which trains in a modern, purpose built, pitted Gymnastics & Fitness facility in the beautiful Forest of Dean, in Gloucestershire.
We require an enthusiastic, experienced, motivational and committed coach with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to high standards to support and continue the development of the club.
This is a full time position with responsibility which will include coaching development & competition squads, some recreational groups and assisting with administration duties.
The post holder will work as part of a friendly, committed coaching team in planning, supporting and delivering the gymnastics programme.
• The person appointed will hold a Level 3 or 4 Women’s British Gymnastics coaching qualification and have experience of working at this level. Additional coaching or judging qualifications would be an asset.
• You should be familiar with the current British competition system.
• You must be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team, with good coaching and supporting skills. You should be able to develop gymnasts to a good competition standard.
• Coaches must be fluent in both spoken and written English and must hold a current work permit and visa (if applicable).
• You will be required to assist with the development of young coaches and ensure the ongoing development of gymnasts throughout the club’s gymnastics programme.
• You will hold a current CRB certificate.
• Coaches are required to be current members of British Gymnasts and to abide by the BG Code of Conduct & rules.
